XPEDITION 2 i-Size is the successor to the iconic XPEDITION car seat by Kinderkraft. Each element has been carefully engineered to ensure maximum protection and comfort for the child during travel. XPEDITION 2 i-Size is a multi-functional 4-in-1 car seat designed for children who are 40–150 cm tall (0–36 kg, from birth to approximately 12 years). It meets the latest R129 i-Size car seat standard, and has been tested under stringent conditions in crash tests.

This swivel car seat allows you to transport your child in the rearward facing (RWF) position up to approximately four years old (up to 105 cm, up to 20 kg). Remember that the RWF position is five times safer in the event of a head-on collision, particularly for children under four years old!

Thanks to special systems, transporting your youngster in the XPEDITION 2 i-Size car seat is even safer. The H-GUARD + system (three-layer headrest reinforced with memory foam) protects the child's delicate neck, head and shoulders. The torso is protected thanks to SPS, which is high, wide side protection additionally strengthened to ensure comprehensive safety for your little one.

XPEDITION 2 i-Size is a swivel car seat with an integrated base – this enables you to easily and quickly turn the car seat sideways towards the door so you can effortlessly put your child in and secure them using the safety harness. The EASY SPIN 360° system also lets you effortlessly convert the RWF position to the FWF position without having to uninstall the car seat from the car. Thanks to ISOFIX and TOP TETHER, you can easily affix it in the car, and the additional features increase comfort of use when travelling.

Highest safety standard
XPEDITION 2 i-Size is even safer than its predecessor. This car seat meets the latest R129 i-Size standard, which requires even more-rigorous crash tests, including side-on collision tests. It has successfully passed these tests, ensuring maximum protection for your child. It also enables you to transport your little one in the rearward facing (RWF) position up to approximately four years old (105 cm, 20 kg), which is five times safer in the event of a head-on collision.

4-in-1 car seat – for the entire period you’ll need a car seat
The XPEDITION 2 i-Size car seat is multi-functional, and will protect your youngster from birth to approximately 12 years (36 kg/150 cm height). It’s a car seat suitable for children with different bodies and requirements, combining four height ranges. In addition, to meet the needs of the smallest children, the car seat comes with the ERGO PAD insert with the AIR FLOW system that reduces the space between the child and the car seat’s shell, which improves the anatomical position of the body and, therefore, the safety and comfort of the child. 

EASY SPIN 360°
The EASY SPIN 360° system allows you to quickly and easily turn the car seat to face the door. It makes it more convenient for you to put your little one inside and secure them with the internal five-point safety harness. You can also quickly change between the RWF and FWF positions without needing to uninstall and re-install the entire car seat in the car.

Safe travels
XPEDITION 2 i-Size features two additional safety systems for even better protection for your youngster when travelling. Now, our manuals are always on hand – all you need to do is scan the QR code on the car seat shell. This means you can easily install the car seat in the car using ISOFIX and TOP TETHER (the mountings have correct installation indicators to make it easier for you to correctly install the car seat). It takes just one moment to install the car seat in the car and check to make sure that the indicators are green.

Tailored to your child
XPEDITION 2 i-Size features the EASY GROW SYSTEM function (seven-step adjustment of the headrest and safety harness) and the RECLINING function (four-step adjustment of the angle of incline of the car seat for older children in the FWF position). Properly adjusting the incline of the car seat relative to the car’s bench seat not only improves travel comfort, but also increases safety – the car seat will be more stable and will provide better protection for your little passenger. 

ERGO PAD insert
XPEDITION 2 i-Size comes with an ergonomic, advanced ERGO PAD with the AIR FLOW system. Not only does it guarantee an anatomical position for the child in the car, ensuring comfort and proper development of the spine, it also allows air flow when driving on hot days. The insert is designed for children up to 60 cm, and forms another layer that disperses the force of impact before it reaches the youngster in the event of a collision.
