The Aer footmuff is very easy to attach to the seat (with the harness), and comes with magnets that holds it in place over the bumper bar. There is also a hidden compartment where you can store a small baby accessory like soother or teething ring. The other benefit is that you can fold your buggy and footmuff together into one compact package and store it away. You can also take the footmuff off and put it to a specially designed storage bag, which comes in the set.
